Symptom: Regarding the DVD Mechanism (RL-S871 and 874) that is used to the subject models, we will use the following new Traverse Mechanism due to the change of the Pick-up of the DVD Mechanism. Also, the Front-end Firmware has to be updated according to the change in the Pick-up. Solution: MODIFICATION: (Upon repair and/or refurbishment of the unit) Record the file onto a blank CD-R, and update the Front-end Firmware on the above models after replacement of the Traverse Mechanism. Note: When replacing the Traverse Mechanism, please order the following new Traverse Mechanism.
